If F.Scott Fitzgerald was still alive then The George Ballroom is where his setting for the Great Gatsby would have been. This stunning venue is timeless and it has the ability to transport you and your dreams for your wedding day to a place that is truly special, stylish and drenched in elegance. I am alway in awe of this gorgeous venue. Oh! and its right next to the St. Kilda beach, so amazing for photo opportunities!

An urban winery experience located in the heart of Brunswick, this stunning venue has a full bodied palette like an iconic Barossa Shiraz. The owners Cam and Alex found a concrete wine fermenter under Cam’s house and their passion for wine making led to the foundation of this fine venue. An incredibly relaxed, chilled, easy going atmosphere that has a sublime aura and amazing food and wine on offer.

This lavish venue caters for both intimate and large scale gatherings. Amazing natural light floods through its floor to ceiling windows, CRAFT & CO is an urban brewery in the heart of Fitzroy that distills its own spirits and makes its own cheese onsite. It provides for an immersive culinary exploration and caters wonderfully to the alternative food culture (i am pretty sure they are vegan friendly). My O My, the platter they arranged for grazing with drinks and wine was simply decadent and is guaranteed to make everyone drool…

A towering warehouse wedding venue, Substation is Iconic. It’s huge red curtains, art deco glass windows, stunning brick walls, they all contribute towards an elegant warehouse setting that truly make you feel special on the day. It’s incredibly spacious and spectacular, i truly mean it, at one of the weddings i had the privilege of seeing a dance troop perform and do arial gymnastics. This place has the promise to bring your dreams to reality no matter how big or how small they are…

5. COLLINGWOOD CHILDREN’S fARM
Celebrations take place under the majestic oak tree and the historic barn at this rustic farm which is spread over 7 hectares and within 5kms of Melbourne CBD. On the edge of the serene Yarra river next to a corridor of lush bushes, red river gums, silver wattles, and manna gums, this is a venue exquisitely nestled in nature. The venue fee contributes towards supporting the no-profit Collingwood Children’s Farm and helps the caretakers support the animals on site. You can choose to take a stroll through the farm on your wedding day and feed the animals with your own hands.

Sassy, quirky and filled with neat surprises, the Mess Hall is a heritage building on the buzzing Sydney Road precinct. With its leafy atrium, vaulted ceilings, enormous beer hall and exposed brick walls, this venue creates an other worldly feel which is simply striking and fascinating. It’s akin to the 80s psychedelic poster culture that takes you on a special journey for the day. The thoughtful artefacts spread all across the walls and ceilings are truly mesmerising. Offering both canapé and share plate style arrangements, its predominantly South East Asian influence is very refreshing!

This expansive modern industrial warehouse space, with exposed brick walls, and cocktails in a loft with gigantic arched windows can only be described by one word, yes your are right! that is WOW! Its rooftop provides photo opportunities overlooking the majestic Melbourne skyline and its open bar is just exquisite. In the North side of the city within 1km of the CBD and based in quirky and beautifully eccentric suburb of Fitzroy this dwelling is a true GEM!
